I think the new combination has a more natural “smooth” look, perhaps more stable and more accurate, but I may still prefer the old method with Sharpen 2.0 and Crystal image Normal. 2.0 on this filter seems about as strong as 1.0 of the old. Initial impressions are that it looks pretty good (much clearer than previous vorpX defaults) although noticeably softer than I’m used to at max sharpen. If that were the case, games like Sekiro and Dark Souls would get immense amount of hate.Glad i got a chance to check this out tonight, before I’m out of town for a week. And i personally really liked D3, but I get kind of upset when ppl like you dismiss the contructive criticism the game gets by believing it's all a matter of difficulty. It's obvious tho that despite these flaws, the game is still perfectly beatable. Notice how this wasn't a problem in D2, bc Death's dodges had huge range and not to mention you could do 3 in a row. D3 only has parry (aka perfect dodge) since the enemy's near-perfect tracking and range makes the regular dodge almost useless. Not to mention in Dark Souls, the player has 3 defensive mechanisms: dodge, parry, block. Now take this same approuch with a fast pace combat game, where the enemies have perfect doesn't work. This allows the devs to be extremely punishing to the player when he screws up without feeling unfair. For example, action commitment isn't a problem for Dark Souls due to it's pacing.enemies usually have a huge ammount of recovery frames and awful tracking, making it easy to plan yourself for when to attack and heal etc. If you played Dark Souls you'll notice how enemy telegraphy and tracking are purposely made poor to compensated for the players disadvantages. D3 works fine in 1v1 encounters, but starts to fall apart when there are more than 2 enemies against you. This resulting in a game that isn't balanced. This wasn't the case with D3, tho.which isn't a bad thing, changes can be neat, but the devs tried to be both Darksiders and Dark Souls while failing to see what made Dark Souls work. For example, D2 changed a lot but it still felt like Darksiders, with all the combos and skills.the combat didn't change that much. I'll try not to ramble too much, but the problem isn't that it's 's that it deviated too much from the core of Darksiders. You really don't get the problem with D3. Oof, I really goofed on that Title *To those of you who thought DarkSiders 3 was too hard. Take the time to learn the mechanics and hone your skills so you can be skilled enough to play on those harder difficulties instead of complaining that the harder difficulties are too hard. Now I fear that DarkSiders 4 will be this massive step backwards and have a less methodical combat system because of it.įor those people who thought DarkSiders 3 was too hard, I encourage you to go back and play the game not in classic mode and on the easiest difficulty because I doubt you'd struggle in the slightest. It's a shame the devs added 'Classic mode' as if admitting they made a mistake when they for sure didn't. The changes done to combat made the game much slower pace and methodical and yet on the easiest difficulty I find it incredibly hard to believe people struggled at all. Sure, they revamped the combat to be more inline with Dark souls which made the player actually have to think tactically and strategize about what they were doing. These people have to be the most incompetent gamers if they thought DarkSiders 3 was too hard. I then loaded up the game, dropped the difficulty all the way to rock bottom easy and guess what? It was a cake walk. The complaints I'm referring to are the ones that claim DarkSiders 3 was too hard. Aside from it being a rather buggy mess, there were tons of complaints that bothered me. When DarkSiders 3 launched I loved every bit of it and played it on the hardest difficulty at the time.
