Even with hundreds of combat maneuvers, combat is quick and intuitive. While you could play a Shadowrun style campaign, far more common in my experience was trying to survive on the mean streets, strung out on drugs and looking for the next big score.īest application of the old Storyteller system. Unlike Shadowrun which had you play corporate mercenaries as the default campaign, CyberPunk was very freeform, giving examples of dozens of different campaign styles.
